Editorial policy

ACBuy Tips is edited by a three-person desk in Rotterdam. We write about the ACBuy shopping agent and the products we order through it. Every product review is based on an order we placed through the ACBuy agent and a parcel we received at our desk.

Scores use a five-point scale: 5 excellent, 4 good, 3 adequate, 2 poor, 1 very poor. Hands-on scores for tested products use the full 1 to 5 scale. We explain each score in the review body and identify retests with a dated note.

We keep editorial and commercial work separate in the following way: affiliate links are added after a score is set, and no editor is paid per click. We do not accept payment for a score. We name the agent fees and shipping lines we paid, because those costs change the value of an order.

The desk selects products for their relevance to the comparison.
