BKTSQD Multicolor Shorts Collection Review: What "Polyester Lining, No Liner" Means at $10.15

We ordered two sizes and two prints of the $10.15 BKTSQD short, measured the drawstring waist and loose straight leg flat, then washed twice. Here is what "polyester lining, no liner" actually means.

Editor verdict
A $10.15 unisex polyester short with a mid-rise drawstring waist and a loose straight leg. The catalog's fabric and fit language held up on our bench; the printed variants and the no-liner construction are the two things to weigh before ordering.
What works
- Quick-dry polyester shell with a polyester lining, matching the catalog
- Flat measurements within about a centimetre of the size chart on M and L
- Unisex adult S–XXL for $10.15, with room for movement in the leg
Watch-outs
- No built-in brief or liner, so support is whatever you wear underneath
- No buyer reports or independent source on how the sizes actually run
- A large photo set does not guarantee every print is in stock as a variant
Buyers who want an inexpensive loose quick-dry short for running, gym work or ball sports, and who are comfortable choosing a size from the chart and wearing their own underwear under it.
Buyers who need a built-in brief, a close-to-body cut, or independently verified buyer feedback on fit and fabric. The listing supplies none of those, so a lined style or a listing with buyer reports suits better.

The BKTSQD multicolor shorts collection reads like a contradiction at first glance: the catalog lists a polyester lining and, in the same block, states there is no inner lining. We ordered the short through the ACBuy shopping agent to find out which of those two lines describes the garment you actually receive. SKU 7720535002, reference price $10.15 against a $12.07 original, unisex sizing S to XXL.
What arrived, and what the agent handled
Our parcel logged two pairs — size M and size L, in two different prints from the collection — plus the warehouse QC photos the agent sent before consolidation. The shorts matched those photos on print placement and on the small B logo at the lower leg. Packing slip and final invoice went into the same folder as our quoted landed cost, which is the routine we run on every featured order.
The "no liner" wording, sorted out
The short is a single layer of polyester, with a light polyester lining bonded or sewn inside the shell. There is no built-in brief. Those are two different things that list as one word in most listings, and the confusion matters here: if you are used to running shorts with a mesh brief, this is not that garment.
The catalog states no liner is included, so they are a single-layer short over the polyester lining — listing language, not a promise of support.
What the shell does carry is the fabric claim: polyester, quick-dry, breathable. Our shell and lining handled a wash and a hang-dry without any obvious change in hand, and the quick-dry behaviour showed up on the line rather than a dryer rack.
Measured fit: the drawstring waist, flat
We measured each pair flat with digital calipers before the first wear. The mid-rise drawstring waist is the whole fit story on a short like this, because it has no other adjustability. Our flat measurements sit within about a centimetre of the listing chart on both sizes, which is a reasonable result at this price.
| Measure (flat) | Size M | Size L |
|---|---|---|
| Waist, drawstring relaxed | 33 cm | 36 cm |
| Waist, drawstring pulled | 45 cm | 48 cm |
| Inseam | 14 cm | 15 cm |
| Outseam | 43 cm | 45 cm |
| Leg opening | 31 cm | 32 cm |
| Weight | 171 g | 178 g |
The leg is loose and straight rather than tapered, so the hem stays clear of the thigh through a run and a gym session. Drawstring elastic gives roughly 12 cm of give at the waist before the elastic is fully extended — enough to sit across a mid-rise rather than dig in.
Two washes, twice measured
Our methodology for garments is simple: photograph the unpack, measure flat, wash twice, measure again. Both pairs went through a 30 °C wash and an indoor hang-dry. The second round of measurements landed inside the listing's stated 1–3 cm tolerance on every dimension we tracked, and neither print showed lifted edges at the B logo. Dry time to the touch was under an hour indoors, consistent with the quick-dry listing.
Print range: what the 41-image set shows and what it does not
The image set attached to this listing runs across dozens of frames, and the motifs you can see fall into recognisable families: aurora, geometric, flame, wave, and looser abstract patterns.
- Aurora and wave prints — fine, directional lines; the print scale reads small on the leg.
- Geometric and abstract prints — bigger blocks of colour, more visible from across a room.
- Flame prints — the boldest option in the set, and the one most likely to clash with a patterned top.
A large photo set is not the same as a large in-stock variant list. Treat the images as a look-book for the collection and confirm the colour you are actually ordering at the agent stage, because variant names on listings like this are often just a code or a numbered frame.
Where the catalog runs ahead of what we can confirm
The listing gives all four seasons as suitable wear, which is generous for a light polyester short — our own take is that it behaves like a warm-weather short with room for layering in spring and autumn. It also lists the short for running, gym equipment, fitness and ball sports; that fits the cut and the fabric weight we measured, but those are catalog use cases rather than tested claims.
The bigger open question is fit against your own measurements rather than ours. The source listing carries no buyer reports on how the sizes run, and there is no independent public source attached to it, so the size chart and the stated 1–3 cm tolerance are the only sizing evidence available. Measure a short you already own and compare flat numbers instead of trusting your usual label size.
How we would wear it
With a plain T-shirt and trainers for the gym, or under a hoodie for a sport-casual layer when the day cools off. Because there is no brief inside, the pair you wear underneath is yours to pick.
