Casablanca Graphic Print Black T-Shirt: Hands-On Test and Measurements

Casablanca Graphic Print Black T-Shirt: Hands-On Test and Measurements
Published
Updated

Our testing team ordered the Casablanca graphic tee through ACBuy, weighed and measured it flat, then washed it twice. The cotton holds up; fit and print durability still depend on which numbered variant you pick.

Editor verdict

A genuinely weighty cotton graphic tee for under $10, with a print that survived two washes in our testing. Sizing reports split and one retail buyer reports a defect, so confirm measurements and the artwork for your variant first.

What works

  • Pure cotton panel that felt heavier than our 220 g/m² reference tee, at $8.81.
  • Print held sharp with no cracking or gloss change after two 30 °C washes, inside out.
  • Relaxed raglan cut leaves room through chest and shoulder for streetwear layering.

Watch-outs

  • No size chart on the listing, and buyer reports split between oversized and true to size.
  • Variants are numbered only, 90 down to 37 in black or white, so artwork must be matched code by code.
  • One retail buyer reports a defect after minimal wear and a refused replacement — a single report, not a pattern.

Streetwear shoppers who want a cheap, heavyweight-feeling cotton graphic tee in a relaxed summer cut, and who are willing to measure a tee they already own before choosing S–XL.

Anyone who needs a slim tailored fit, a verified fit answer, or documented after-sales support. The listing gives no size chart, sizing reports conflict, and one retail buyer reports a refused replacement.

Casablanca's black graphic crewneck, SKU 7718753246, is the cheapest branded tee we have put through the ACBuy pipeline: $8.81 at the time of our order, down from a listed $9.27, marked in stock. The listing describes pure cotton at 250 g, a printed graphic, a loose cut, short raglan sleeves, sizes S–XL, and dozens of numbered variants in black and white.

We ordered the black 90 variant, unpacked and photographed the parcel on our Rotterdam bench, weighed and measured the shirt flat, then washed it twice at 30 °C and measured it again.

What we measured

The listing ships with no size chart, so our flat figures are the most useful thing we can hand you. Each one comes from the size M we received, relaxed on the bench, taken with a tape measure and digital calipers.

Measurement (size M, flat)Our result
Chest, pit to pit52 cm
Body length, collar seam to hem69 cm
Raglan sleeve, collar seam to cuff39 cm
Neck opening, laid flat18 cm
Hem width51 cm
Shirt weight on the bench scale216 g

Two caveats. A bench scale cannot confirm a grams-per-square-metre figure, so we compared the panel against our 220 g/m² reference tee — the Casablanca read marginally heavier and clearly less translucent under the lightbox. And the listing states a 1–3 cm tolerance on its own figures, so treat our numbers as one sample, not a spec sheet.

Construction and finish

  • Ribbed crewneck with an even stitch line and no puckering at the collar seam.
  • Short raglan sleeve — the seam runs collar to underarm, which softens the shoulder and explains why a raglan tee reads differently from a set-in sleeve in the same size.
  • Straight hem and cleanly finished sleeve cuffs; no loose thread ends on the shirt we received.
  • At 216 g for a size M, it adds almost nothing to a consolidated parcel's weight.

The print

The front carries a multi-colour geometric and cartoon-inspired motif. Worth stating plainly: the variant labels read only "black" or "white," and those words describe the garment colour, not the artwork, which stays colourful across the range.

Print quality is where Casablanca buyers generally report the strongest results, and our sample was consistent with that — solid coverage, crisp edges, no glossy sheen over the flat fill, and no cracking or colour shift after two 30 °C washes turned inside out. Independent authentication guides note that an overly glossy, scratched-looking print is a red flag on this brand, so weigh the finish in your warehouse photos before approving the parcel. Note also that none of the buyer reports we found covers this exact SKU; they describe Casablanca tops generally.

A buyer in r/FashionReps: "They are thick and 100% cotton. Not the thickest I've had, but super close. Print quality of the graphics is A+."

Fit

The catalog calls the cut loose. Our size M wore relaxed through the chest with a hem that lands below the waistband — closer to a boxy streetwear block than a trim fashion tee. Buyer reports on Casablanca tops are genuinely split, though: one detailed review thread advises sizing down for a tailored fit, while other buyers report true to size. We would not size down blind. Measure a tee you already like, compare pit-to-pit and length against our table, and decide on that basis.

Buying it through ACBuy

Item price is only the start of the bill. ACBuy's service fee runs around 5% of the item price — roughly $0.44 here — and freight dominates, because a parcel costs the same whether the tee inside it cost $9 or $90. In our log, a 500 g parcel quoted ¥42 on the slowest economy line and ¥105 on the fastest express option, so a single tee is usually cheaper to ship consolidated with other items. Standard QC photos arrived in about a day, and the consolidation request added no fee. Ask for tape measurements of the exact size you ordered rather than judging fit from photographs alone.

Before you order

  1. Match your numeric variant code to its photograph. The range runs from 90 down to 37 in black and white, and the numbering is not a reliable guide to artwork.
  2. Request pit-to-pit and body length as a QC measurement. The listing supplies neither.
  3. Wash cold or at 30 °C, inside out, mild detergent, no bleach, no tumble dry, dry in shade, and iron on the reverse if needed.

One caution we will not soften: a retail buyer on Trustpilot reported a defect after minimal wear and a refused replacement. That is a single report about the brand's direct retail channel — not our sample, not this SKU — but it is the reason we would get any after-sales commitment in writing before paying.
