Gucci Bear-Print Tee Review: One SKU, Ten Colourways, and the QC Photos That Settle Which Bear You Get

Gucci Bear-Print Tee Review: One SKU, Ten Colourways, and the QC Photos That Settle Which Bear You Get

We bought this $5.67 slim blank through the ACBuy agent, weighed and taped it, and washed it twice. The bear print is one of ten colourways under a single SKU; the listing still publishes no garment measurements.

Hands-on score
4.0 / 5

Editor score 4.0 / 5

Editor verdict

A light, slim polyester print tee that delivers at $5.67, with a bear graphic we confirmed in QC photos. Sizing is the weak link: no published measurements, and category reports say these blanks run small.

What works

  • Bench weight of 148 g on our size M matched the sub-180 g listing claim
  • Bear print showed no cracking or peeling across two cool washes in our unit
  • Ten colourways and a genuine M-5XL run at a $5.67 price

Watch-outs

  • No flat chest or length measurements published; we had to ask the seller for a tape
  • Category reports of Gucci prints fading or bleeding after washing, not confirmed on ours
  • One SKU covers ten graphics, so the bear print must be confirmed in QC photos

Anyone wanting a light, cheap, slim-cut print tee for spring through autumn who will confirm the exact colourway and request flat chest and body-length numbers before ordering.

Shoppers who want a heavyweight or relaxed-fit tee, or who need item-level buyer feedback and a published size chart before placing an order.

We ordered the Gucci Black T-Shirt with Bear Print (SKU 7718731454) through the ACBuy agent at $5.67, reduced from a listed $6.01, and it is marked in stock at the source listing. The parcel was photographed at unpack on the Rotterdam testing desk, weighed on the bench scale, taped flat at the chest, body and hem, worn in rotation, then washed twice and re-taped. The page title promises a bear; the listing itself offers rather more than that, which turned out to be the most useful thing we learned about it.

The bear is one of ten graphics sitting behind a single SKU

The colour selector lists five black and five white blanks, and each pair carries a different graphic: a male-head portrait, a cross necklace, a hand gripping a hook, a Donald Duck figure, and the GU bear used in the product title. The bear motif itself is a geometric treatment with large GUCCI lettering and small text set beneath it, centred on the chest, which keeps the rounded neckline and short sleeves visually uncluttered.

That is not a fault, but it changes how you should order. The SKU does not map one-to-one to the bear print, so the graphic, base colour and print placement you actually want have to be confirmed in the warehouse QC photos before the parcel is consolidated. Our own order matched the bear variant we selected; treat that as one data point, not a guarantee for a different colourway in the same listing.

Our numbers describe the single unit we received. Because the listing publishes no garment measurements, they work as a batch reference and a sanity check against the seller's tape — not as a size chart.

"Milk silk" in practice

Milk silk is a trade name here, not a fibre: the composition line says polyester, and the fabric behaves like a fine synthetic knit. It is thin, dries quickly against the skin, and the listing's moisture-wicking claim is consistent with how the blank handled a warm afternoon — it stayed light rather than clinging. The 180 g-or-under figure is the important part of that description. Category comparisons put authentic Gucci tees near 100 g and many replica blanks above 300 g, so a 148 g unit sits closer to the retail hand feel than the heavyweight end of the rep market. If you are expecting a structured, substantial tee, this is not it.

Two washes, and the limits of our evidence

We washed the tee twice, cool, inside out, no dryer, and re-taped it. The bear graphic showed no cracking or peeling on our unit and the black base held its colour across those two cycles. Our result is narrow, though, and the wider record is not encouraging. Chinese media coverage describes a Gucci T-shirt losing sleeve colour after a single cold-water wash, and print-care guidance holds that printed designs generally are not suited to machine washing or dry cleaning because graphics can peel or crack. One unit and two washes cannot settle long-term print durability.

Care conclusion: our print survived two cool washes, but the category record includes fading and print loss, so wash cool, inside out, and skip the dryer.

Sizing is where the order carries real risk

There are no flat chest or body-length figures anywhere in the listing. That absence matters more than the wide M–5XL run, because category-level reports describe Gucci T-shirts as running small, with buyers commonly advised to order one size up, and at least one side-by-side comparison matched a replica small against a retail medium. Fabric hand-feel on reproduction blanks is also reported to vary between production batches, so two units of the same size can differ slightly.

We sized from measured numbers instead of tags. Ask the seller for flat chest and body length for the size you intend to buy, compare those against a shirt you already own, and size from that comparison. If your build sits between two letters in this cut, the higher letter is the safer request.

How the score was built

Our 4.0 / 5 reflects a light, well-priced slim blank whose print and weight matched its description, discounted for the missing size chart and the uncertainty that remains around wash durability. Value at $5.67 is strong; the fit not so much, which is why the checklist above leads with measurements rather than letter sizes.
