Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection Review: 220g Long-Staple Cotton, Oversized Fit, Measured and Washed

We ordered the Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection through the ACBuy agent, measured a size M flat, washed it twice and re-measured. Here is what the 220g long-staple build delivers, and where sizing still needs your agent's tape.

Editor verdict
A cleanly built oversized letter tee at a throwaway price, held back only by fit guesswork. Our size M measured more like a roomy large, and the moisture-wicking and no-iron claims stay unverified.
What works
- 220g long-staple cotton body with straight seams and a flat, crack-free print after two washes.
- Shrinkage stayed under 1 cm in length and 0.5 cm in the chest across two 30°C cycles.
- Wide code run in black, white and apricot, all available in S through XL.
Watch-outs
- The size label is close to meaningless here: our size M measured 58 cm pit to pit.
- Category threads disagree on how far to size down, and the cut can vary between codes.
- Moisture-wicking and no-iron are seller claims only, with no buyer reviews attached to this SKU.
Buyers who want a boxy, letter-print 220g cotton tee at a single-tee price and will ask the agent for flat chest and length measurements before paying.
Anyone who needs a predictable true-to-size or slim cut, or who wants to order blind from the label. In a colour run this wide, cut and colour rendering shift between codes.

What we ordered and what it cost
We ordered the Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection (SKU 7718829942) through the ACBuy agent to check the two things a listing photo cannot show: whether a 220g long-staple cotton body actually feels like one on the bench, and whether the "loose fit" label survives a tape measure. The listing price is $8.51 USD against a $10.14 USD reference price, and the item showed as in stock at the time of our order. Final landed cost depends on the agent service fee, consolidation weight and the shipping line you pick, so treat the sticker price as the starting point, not the total.
QC photos arrived from the warehouse before we authorised consolidation, which is where a collection this wide earns its keep: with dozens of colour codes on one page, you want to confirm the print, the hem and the collar on your specific code and not on a hero image.
Fabric and construction under the tape
The catalog describes long-staple cotton as the main fabric, a 220g weight, a no-iron (anti-crease) finish and a moisture-wicking function. What we can speak to is how the cloth handled: it has a dry, slightly matte hand rather than the soft brushed feel of heavier cotton, holds a crease out of the parcel, and drapes with enough body that the hem does not collapse inward on a loose cut.
Construction was tidier than the price suggests. Shoulder seams sat straight, the collarless neckline was bound evenly with no rippling, and there was no skipped stitching on the sleeve hems. The letter and brand-logo print sat flat with no cracking after two washes.
Wash test: two cycles, then re-measured
We washed the tee twice at 30°C on a normal cycle and air-dried it flat, measuring at the same landmarks before and after. The shrinkage is modest and mostly in the length, which is useful to know because a loose cotton tee that grows three or four centimetres shorter changes the whole silhouette.
| Measurement (size M, flat) | At unpack | After two washes |
|---|---|---|
| Chest, pit to pit | 58 cm | 57.5 cm |
| Body length, high point shoulder to hem | 71 cm | 70 cm |
| Shoulder, seam to seam | 52 cm | 52 cm |
| Sleeve, shoulder seam to cuff | 21 cm | 21 cm |
| Weight on the bench scale | 268 g | 265 g |
For reference, a standard medium tee usually lands around 52 cm pit to pit. Our size M measured 58 cm, so the cut runs close to two sizes generous against a mainstream fit — and closer to a roomy large.
Sizing: trust the thread, not the label
This is the part of the review where the listing stops being able to help you. Category chatter about Rhude tops is consistent about the direction and inconsistent about the distance, and that inconsistency shows up in the source threads we reviewed:
Does Rhude fit TTS or an oversized fit? Oversized. I'd size a full size down.
The counter-example is just as useful. One buyer in r/streetwear described going from a usual large to a small, and a separate r/Rhude exchange has buyers sizing down in some silhouettes while keeping their normal size in others. Our own sample supports the "very generous" reading rather than a single universal number.
The practical move with any shopping agent is to ask for flat chest and length measurements for the exact colour code you want before you pay. On a collection this size, the cut can differ between codes, and the difference between a good oversized tee and a tent is usually four centimetres of chest.
The colour run is the real complication
The listing carries a long run of codes — 5001, 5002, 5005 through 5018, 5026, 5063 and the 5067–5087 block among them — each offered in black, white and apricot, in S, M, L and XL. That variety is the point of the product, but it also means the page-wide photography is not a reliable guide to your specific code. Apricot in particular renders warm and peach-toned in some frames and closer to a soft sand in others.
White and black were straightforward in our sample: white was opaque enough to wear without a layering tee, and the black did not shed onto the QC photography backdrop or onto our wash water.
What we could not verify
Two catalog claims stayed open. The moisture-wicking function and the no-iron finish are seller-stated material properties, and we have no independent test that separates them from a standard combed cotton finish. Equally, we found no buyer-written reviews attached to this specific SKU. The one seller-service comment the research surfaced — praising fast dispatch on a Weidian Rhude-print listing — refers to a different item, so it should not be read as a verdict on this seller's handling of this tee.
How it wears
With 58 cm pit to pit and a 70 cm body, this sits at the volume end of a relaxed tee. It layers cleanly under an open overshirt or a zip jacket without the shoulders bunching, and the collarless neckline keeps the graphic as the focal point. Keep the rest of the outfit fitted and let one other piece repeat a tone from the print rather than matching the whole palette.
Sizing up for a slouchier look is possible but not necessary; sizing down once will land most buyers near a normal relaxed fit, which matches what the category threads recommend.
Where the score lands
At $8.51 USD with a solid 220g cotton body, clean seams, minimal shrinkage and a print that survived two washes, this is a good buy for the money — a 4 out of 5 on our five-point scale. The point comes off for the unverifiable material claims and for a size label that tells you very little without a tape measure in hand.
