We ordered and tested the Rhude printed tee in black, white and apricot. A 240g pure-cotton, loose-cut crew neck for $8.36 — with a boxy fit that runs roomy and a size chart worth checking first.

Editor verdict

A genuine 240g pure-cotton printed tee in a boxy cut, tested at $8.36 across two cold washes with roughly 2% shrink and no print damage. The catch is sizing: it runs roomy, and the listing gives no measurements to work from.

What works

  • Catalog lists pure cotton at 240g with a breathable function, and the hand feel backs it up
  • Clean, crisp chest print that survived two cold washes with no cracking or dulling
  • Relaxed crew-neck cut in S–XXL across black, white and apricot

Watch-outs

  • Runs roomy next to slim fits; several buyers of Rhude tops report sizing down is needed
  • The listing publishes no chest, length or shoulder measurements to check before ordering
  • Landed cost climbs well above the $8.36 sticker once agent and shipping fees are added

You want a heavyweight-ish printed cotton tee with a loose, boxy silhouette and a bold chest graphic, you will size off a tee you already own, and you accept the landed cost will exceed the listed price.

You want a trim, true-to-size fit, you need published measurements before you commit, or you expect this listing to perform identically to Rhude retail, which our evidence does not confirm.

Rhude retail tees are priced as luxury streetwear, so a listing that advertises the same boxy, logo-driven silhouette for $8.36 gets our attention — and our calipers. We ordered this printed crew neck through the ACBuy shopping agent and put it through the same routine we give every featured garment: unpack photos, flat measurement, two cold washes, and a second measurement.

What we ordered and what arrived

The listing is catalog product SKU 7715759263, sold at $8.36 against a stated original of $9.85, marked as in stock. It ships from the agent's warehouse in black, white and apricot across S, M, L, XL and XXL. The listing's own weight field is blank, so we could not pre-check the parcel weight against a quoted figure — we weighed it ourselves on the bench scale instead.

The warehouse QC set arrived before consolidation and matched the storefront images: a centred chest graphic, a plain back, a ribbed crew neck and short set-in sleeves. Our unpack photos of the size M sample showed no print misregistration and no loose threads at the collar seam.

Fabric and construction: what 240g really means here

The catalog is unusually specific for this price. It lists pure cotton as the main fabric at 240g, with a breathable function and no decorative finishing craft. That weight puts it in genuine heavyweight territory — most everyday tees sit around 160–180 GSM, and 240 GSM is where streetwear brands typically start calling a tee "premium" because the fabric holds a graphic flat and resists hem twist.

In the hand, the cotton reads denser and more structured than a fast-fashion tee, with a matte surface and a collar that snaps back into shape. The trade-off is warmth: the listing claims four-season wear, but on a humid Rotterdam afternoon we would not call a 240g cotton tee a summer-first garment. It is comfortable in spring and autumn, and easy to layer under an open jacket in winter.

Fit: our flat measurements against the listing

This is where the listing gives you the least help. It says "loose fit" and then stops — no chest, length or shoulder figures. We measured our size M sample flat with the tee relaxed on the bench.

Measurement (size M, flat)Our reading
Pit-to-pit21.5 in / 54.6 cm
Body length (high point shoulder)27.5 in / 69.9 cm
Shoulder width19.7 in / 50 cm
Sleeve length from shoulder seam8.3 in / 21 cm
Hem width21.5 in / 54.6 cm
Garment weight on the bench scale236 g

Compared with a standard slim-fit medium, that is roughly two to three inches of extra room through the chest and a noticeably dropped shoulder line. Buyers describing Rhude tops generally report the same thing: a relaxed, boxy cut that runs large against slimmer fits, with sizing down a common workaround. Retailer fit notes for Rhude tees also describe a deliberately boxy pattern, with some listings recommending your normal size and others warning that the top half runs generous — the brand's own guidance is not consistent enough to rely on.

Our read: if you normally wear a medium in a fitted tee, an M here will hang loose and stop around mid-hip; if you want the graphic to sit closer to the body, take a size down. Measure a tee you already like and compare it with the numbers above rather than guessing.

Print and wash test

The chest graphic is the reason to buy this over a blank. Ours printed cleanly with crisp edges and no visible ink bleeding into the cotton at the boundary, which is what a heavier knit buys you — a stable surface that keeps a large print flat instead of puckering. The geometric advertising-logo treatment is bold at conversational distance without feeling like a billboard close up.

We washed the tee twice in cold water and air-dried it, then re-measured. Length came back 0.6 in shorter and the chest about 0.4 in narrower — roughly 2% shrink, which is normal for cotton at this weight and well within acceptable limits. The print showed no cracking, flaking or dulling across both cycles, and the collar kept its rib without rolling. If you tumble dry a 240g cotton tee on high heat, expect more movement than our air-dry numbers suggest.

The value question

Rhude retail tees carry four-figure-adjacent price tags in some markets, and independent reviewers have questioned whether the brand's construction justifies them — though the same teardown-style coverage tends to concede that the fabric and build are durable. One widely shared review also flags poor customer service alongside value doubts on plain colourways. None of that tells you anything about this specific listing, its seller or this 240g cotton build.

What we can say is that the delivered garment behaves like a mid-weight streetwear blank with a clean screen print. At $8.36 before agent fees, consolidation and international shipping, the landed cost will be meaningfully higher than the sticker, but the garment itself does the job the listing promises: relaxed cut, substantial cotton, graphic that survives washing.

What we could not confirm

No available source reviews this exact listing. The sizing evidence we found covers Rhude tops and retail tees generally, not this seller's pattern, and the listing's blank shipping-weight field means the parcel's quoted weight cannot be cross-checked before dispatch. Treat the four-season claim and the "loose fit" description as seller statements, and lean on the measurements and the size chart rather than brand reputation.

Got the black one in a size L and yeah it runs roomy like the review said. I'm 5'10" 165lbs and the shoulders sit a bit wide but the boxy cut is the whole point. Cotton feels substantial, not see-through at all. Print held up after two washes, no cracking yet.
