  • About Superbuy

Superbuy launched in 2012 and pioneered the reverse cross-border shopping model: a one-stop Chinese purchasing and international shipping service built for buyers outside China. It helps overseas shoppers order from domestic platforms such as Taobao and Tmall, then handles inspection, warehousing and global delivery.

Its core selling points are a lifetime waiver of basic purchasing agent fees, free in-house quality inspection when parcels arrive at the warehouse, and 90 days of free storage. Buyers can consolidate several packages into one shipment and request reinforced packaging, which reduces international shipping costs.

Superbuy also runs the Superbuy Spreadsheet, a product search tool with a large database of domestic listings. It lets buyers search, filter and compare sources in bulk before ordering, and it sits alongside 100+ shipping routes covering more than 200 countries and regions, bilingual customer service and multi-currency payments. The operating entity is DOT Technology Hong Kong Limited (Registration No. 72396324).

    What to weigh up

    What works wellWhat to check
    • Operating continuously since 2012, Superbuy is the longest-running agent platform we tested, which makes it a stable place to hold parcels and balances.

    • Lifetime waiver of basic purchasing agent fees, so you pay for goods and freight rather than service commission.

    • A reasonable exchange rate (listed at 6.19 in our September 2026 check) and support for many payment methods, including Bitcoin alongside cards, Wise, Alipay and WeChat Pay.

    • Wide shipping coverage: 100+ routes to 200+ countries and regions, with prepaid shipping charged against estimated weight and any overpayment refunded.

    • Free warehouse QC with three photos plus 90 days of free storage, which makes multi-order consolidation practical.

    • Points and membership perks can reduce shipping: up to 10% off shipping for members and a birthday package worth up to 20% off.

    • Paid value-added services such as shoe-box removal, tag removal and power-on testing void returns on the item — choose them only when you are sure you are keeping the product.

    • Free storage runs for 90 days, with paid extension available; the source states items held beyond 180 days are treated as abandoned.

    • Shipping is prepaid on estimated weight, so the upfront charge can be higher than the final cost. The difference is refunded to your Superbuy account, not your card.

    • Top-up fees differ sharply by method and card type, and some regional methods are limited — for example MyBank top-ups are only supported for Italian bank cards.

    • All fees and exchange rates quoted on this page reflect September 2026 and are subject to change.

    Is Superbuy legit?

Superbuy has operated since 2012 and is one of the earliest reverse cross-border shopping platforms in China, run by DOT Technology Hong Kong Limited (Registration No. 72396324). Public traffic data cited by the platform puts it above 2.6 million monthly visits, placing it among the industry leaders. In our reading it is a real, functioning agent rather than a clone site, and its 14-year track record is the strongest signal in its favour.

    Where Superbuy is popular

Traffic data indicates the largest Superbuy user bases are in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and France. That matters practically: popular destinations tend to have more shipping routes and more route choices to compare, while buyers in smaller markets may face fewer options and thinner consolidation savings.

    Payment methods and top-up fees

Superbuy supports an unusually wide set of payment routes. Alipay and WeChat top-ups are free of service fees but can take 1–60 minutes to credit. Bank transfer via Wise is quoted as the low-cost option, while credit card and Apple Pay top-ups add roughly 3.94%. Bitcoin is also accepted, which few competing agents offer.

    Regional methods carry their own fees, checked in September 2026: MyBank 1.5% + EUR 0.22 (Italian bank cards only), Kakao Pay 2.7% + USD 0.3, GCash 2.7% + USD 0.3, PromptPay 2.5% + THB 15, Turkish bank cards 3.8%, PayID 2.9% + USD 0.3, PIX 2% + USD 0.05, Trustly 3% + USD 0.40, iDEAL 2% + EUR 0.3, EPS 2% + EUR 0.3, PayU 2% + EUR 0.3, MB WAY 1.5% + EUR 0.15, Bancontact 0.5% + EUR 0.3, BLIK 2% + PLN 0.7, BANCOMAT Pay 1% + EUR 0.1, DANA 2.5%, PayNow 1.5%, Touch 'n Go 2.5%, Mercado Pago Mexico 3.5% and GrabPay Malaysia 2.5%. Fees and availability change, so confirm inside your account before topping up.

Value-added services and what they cost

Warehouse extras are priced per item. Power-on testing for electronics and 3C goods is about $1.93; a second inspection $1.00; detailed inspection $0.88; detailed photography $0.48; thread trimming $0.80; tag removal $0.48; product video $3.23; live model try-on photos $4.84; ironing $3.23; priority receiving $0.80; and extended storage $1.61 per month. Packaging services include plastic sealing $1.61, bubble-column wrapping $0.80, cowhide bubble bags $0.50, EPE foam $0.64, dust bags $0.64, custom EPE reinforcement from $3.71 and wooden crate reinforcement at $40.38.

Parcel-level options cover priority shipping ($1.61 for up to 10 items, $0.08 for each additional item), moisture-proof bags $0.96, stretch film $0.64/kg capped at $3.23, corner protectors $0.80/kg capped at $4.03, vacuum compression bags $2.74, packaging process video $0.80 and custom packaging $0.80 plus materials. Returns and exchanges are free for the first one or two requests per month and scale up in cost thereafter. Remember that removing boxes or tags, or running power-on testing, forfeits the ability to return the item.

    Consolidation and shipping economics

The savings come from combining warehouse items into a single parcel rather than paying for several. Superbuy quotes 100+ lines and coverage of more than 200 countries and regions, and shipping is charged as a prepaid deposit against estimated weight, with any overpayment returned to your account balance.

Because cost tracks volume and weight, adding light, low-bulk items to a parcel you are already shipping costs little extra, while bulky packaging adds real money. Members can earn points worth 1 CNY per 100 points and redeem them for shipping discounts of up to 10%, with a birthday package distributed on the first of the buyer's birthday month offering up to 20% off. Rates, routes and promotions were last checked in September 2026.

    How to use Superbuy

    1. Step 1 — Find products with the Superbuy spreadsheet

Search the spreadsheet by keyword, then filter by category and price range to build a shortlist. Listings are shown as a table of links, images, prices and store details, so you can compare several sellers quickly. Copy the links you want and paste them into Superbuy to start an order.

    2. Step 2 — Submit the order and pay

Superbuy buys from the merchant on your behalf once payment clears. Basic purchasing agent fees are waived for life, so the main costs are goods value and top-up fees. Top up by bank transfer, card, Wise, Alipay, WeChat Pay or Bitcoin — fees vary by method, and Wise transfers are the cheapest route we saw.

    3. Step 3 — Inspection, storage and extras

When items reach the warehouse you get three QC photos and 90 days of free storage. Paid extras include detailed inspection, video, live model try-on photos, ironing, thread trimming and power-on testing for electronics (about $1.93 per item). Note that box, tag and power-on services make the item non-returnable.

    4. Step 4 — Consolidate and ship out

Combine warehouse items into one parcel, compare routes, then pay the prepaid shipping charge based on estimated weight. Any overpayment is refunded to your account. Because price is driven by volume and weight, small add-ons such as socks or phone cases ride along cheaply, while bulky packaging raises the bill.

Superbuy is best understood as two tools in one: a purchasing agent that buys from Chinese storefronts on your behalf, and a shipping agent that receives the goods, inspects them, stores them and forwards them internationally.

Buying starts with a product link. You can pull links from Taobao and Tmall directly, or use the Superbuy Spreadsheet, a search tool built for overseas buyers. It returns bulk listing data — links, images, prices and store information — in a table you can sort and filter by category and price range, so you can compare candidates without repeated manual searching. When you find something, you paste the link into Superbuy and submit a purchase order. Basic purchasing fees are waived for life.

Once goods arrive at the warehouse, Superbuy inspects them and uploads three QC photos (Weidian orders get three additional photos). They sit in free storage for 90 days while you keep ordering, then you consolidate everything into one parcel and choose a route. Shipping is prepaid against estimated weight and any overpayment is refunded to your account balance.

Two cautions matter. First, paid add-ons such as shoe-box removal, tag removal and power-on testing make an item non-returnable, so decide before you click. Second, packaging choices and route selection move the price far more than anything else — compare routes and avoid adding bulky packaging if cost is the priority.

The fee figures in this guide were checked in September 2026. Confirm current rates, route availability and promotion terms in your own account before committing.
